Founded and lead a nonprofit that connects six high school students from different countries to promote sustainability and recycling education. Partnered with Amigos de los Rios to raise $4,500 for post-fire restoration after the Eaton Fire. Organize campaigns and online challenges that teach students practical ways to include recycling and composting in daily life. Create educational materials and manage outreach that encourage young people to see sustainability as part of community responsibility.

Organize weekly classroom recycling collections and deliveries to Pasadena’s recycling center. Lead composting education and coordinate with Pasadena’s compost hub for weekly community drop-offs. Plan bake sales and awareness events to support local environmental organizations. Collaborate with Ridwell to educate students and neighbors about recycling difficult materials.

International Student Support                                Peer Mentor

Help new international and immigrant classmates adjust to school life by offering guidance in academics, activities, and daily routines. Serve as a bridge between international students, teachers, and local classmates to promote inclusion and understanding. Encourage classmates to form connections, including co-founding the Badminton Club, which became a welcoming space for students from diverse backgrounds.
